For seventy years, our family has shared its passion for beautiful jewelry, travel, Italy, and the French and Italian art of living.
Three generations have grown up to the rhythm of discoveries, encounters, and shared emotions. From vacations spent in Verona to strolls through the alleyways of Venice, from Italian landscapes to treasures discovered around the world, each memory has nourished our perspective on beauty, colors, and the cultures that shape the identity of places.
From this sensitivity, the French brand UNA STORIA was born in 2007.
Meaning "a story" in Italian, the name of the jewelry house conveys a deep conviction: a piece of jewelry is not limited to its precious material. It can reveal a personality, celebrate an event, or become the precious witness of a journey, a place, and the emotions associated with it.
Cécile, Frédérique, and Pierre chose to break with traditional jewelry codes by creating rhodium-plated silver jewelry with bold designs and shimmering hues. A creative vision that today finds its expression in the house's signature: Asserted Elegance.
Located in Vichy, in the heart of France, the UNA STORIA creative studio, under the creative direction of Antoine Gaillard, Sales and Product Marketing Director, designs collections of women's silver jewelry inspired by art, nature, architecture, and encounters. Each creation is conceived as an invitation to travel, where color becomes a universal language at the service of emotion.
Faithful to its commitment to excellence, the house then entrusts the realization of its creations to partner jewelry workshops, selected for their mastery of sterling silver work and their ability to meet UNA STORIA's specifications. Each year, the Vichy creative studio team meets the most talented artisans at major international jewelry events, particularly in Venice, to foster collaborations based on know-how, trust, and excellence. UNA STORIA jewelry is produced according to the standards of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), an international benchmark for the jewelry industry. This commitment reflects the house's desire to surround itself with partners who share the same requirements for quality, responsibility, and ethics.
A trip to North America marked a turning point in the house's creative history. Fascinated by the bird's vibrant plumage, the designers imagined a Toucan collection that would become one of UNA STORIA's most recognizable. For the first time, color asserted itself as a full-fledged jewelry signature. Vibrant shades mingled with rhodium-plated 925/1000th silver, giving rise to a bold universe that helped shape the house's creative identity.
The discovery of a museum dedicated to pre-Columbian cultures inspired the Aztec collection. Graphic motifs and the symbolism of Amerindian civilizations nourished a creation with a strong character, where deep blues dialogue with the light of silver. A collection that celebrates the richness of cultural heritage and the emotion of discovery.
With Siena, UNA STORIA pays homage to one of its beloved lands. Inspired by Tuscan landscapes, the light of Italian villages, and the family memories attached to them, the Siena collection translates the Italian art of living into colors. Each piece of jewelry evokes the timeless elegance of a way of life passed down from generation to generation.
Over the years, the house has continued its exploration of the world and its cultures. Greece, in particular, inspired the Mosaic collection, whose colorful compositions evoke frescoes and Mediterranean decorations. Other creations draw their inspiration from the landscapes, architecture, and traditions encountered during travels, continually enriching UNA STORIA's creative universe.
A few steps from the house's headquarters, in the heart of Vichy, whose parks have been awarded the "Remarkable Tree of France" label since 2010, nature in turn becomes a source of inspiration. The Ginkgo collection celebrates the beauty of an emblematic tree, a symbol of strength, longevity, and harmony.
The organic lines of its leaves inspire delicate creations where color highlights the poetry of the plant world. The Ginkgo collection also marks a return to the house's roots, demonstrating that the most beautiful inspirations can sometimes arise from a simple walk.
